Biggles’ Sound — Dub & Reggae Sound System in Bath
Biggles’ Sound is a dub and reggae sound system from Bath, run by brothers Gavyn and Alex, producers and DJs who have been active in the city’s music scene since the mid-1990s. Founded in 2015, Biggles helped inspire and establish Bath Beats Collective, with their sound system powering the first events and forming the foundation of the collective.
Alongside their role in Bath Beats Collective, Biggles’ Sound has hosted its own events and festivals including Biggles Fest, stages at Bath Carnival, and regular sessions at St James’ Wine Vaults — the venue of their first event. They have also appeared at festivals including Nozstock, Shindig and Altitude Festival, supporting dub and reggae sound system culture locally and beyond.
Biggles remains central to Bath Beats Collective today, while continuing its original focus on dub and reggae through dedicated events, festival appearances and sound system sessions.
