Bath Beats Collective and Nowhere are hosting an official HYPER watch party as part of its worldwide digital premiere weekend, followed by a jungle and drum and bass afterparty across two rooms.

The film

Stevie Hyper D’s voice and stage presence helped define 90s jungle. His death in 1998, aged just 31, left an enormous mark on the scene.

His nephew Darrell Austin and director Jamie Ross-Hulme spent years gathering footage, recordings and stories from those who knew him best. HYPER brings together his personal story and extraordinary archive material capturing the energy of British rave culture.

Whether you were there or discovered the music later, this is a chance to immerse yourself in the scene and celebrate a voice that helped shape it.
